Looks like Jason Martin is going the independent route for his new Starflyer 59 album. Check out the link and help Jason produce and release his new album.

Not keen whatsoever on the no cd version idea. Not everyone has a turntable and/or a system to fully take advantage of the vinyl format as intended. And would much rather have a physical disc than a digital download.

CD burners have been on the market for at least a decade, and many bands have been putting out lossless media online for a little while now. I don't see any problem.

I notice that, Ronnie always say that Jason projects are his.. but it seems like both are in the same boat. Jason didn't release a new album since 2010. Labels like T&N only thinks in money no in real talents. But i wonder he got dropped or he decided to leave.

Now that SF59 has had such great success with the whole Kikstarter thing, does anyone else think maybe JoyE should give it a try for the next project?

I think the problem is not money is time that he need make music with guitars and keys is super easy. With only synths i guess not.

I don't think the money is such a big issue, but the project may get more exposure on Kikstarter, plus it may open up the possibility of cool bonus offers, like live shows, rare Joy E merchandise, etc.

Is there ever going to be a full length or more than just a couple of tracks? I really liked it also.

Looks like just a 12" 2 song release. I picked it up, it's good stuff and a good layout.

Wow, this is more love for Low & Behold than at the official-unofficial sf59 forum. I liked it too (well, I liked Church Bell but not so much Blood Red), but whatever they were asking for the 3 or 4 song EP was just way too steep for me. I've been holding out for a full album... maybe the leftover Kickstarter funds can go toward that? :D
