The Grizzly Owls just finished their new full-length record @ Red Rockets Glare w/ Raymond Richards (The Idaho Falls) who has played guitar and pedal steel guitar with artists including Mojave 3, Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Norfolk and Western. Richards mixed, mastered, and recorded / contributed pedal steel guitar, baritone guitar, and vibes to the record. We will be posting a few of the new songs in a couple of days. The record will be out in October and we will be working with Fanatic Promotion this winter.

We have some new news that we would love to share with you:


1) We will be performing a live acoustic set on INDIE 103.1 in Los Angeles, Ca next Monday (2/18). Although it will be recorded live, it will not air until March sometime (we'll keep you all posted). This will be a rare chance to hear us stripped down to Jenny's voice, me on acoustic guitar, and Raymond Richards (Mojave 3, Idaho Falls) on slide guitar. Even if you do not live in the So. Cal. area, you will still be able to hear it on the web.

2) We have a new music video up on our myspace and on youtube.com for the song "Rifles and Hemlines." We are going to be filming another video for "What's A Girl To Do?" this weekend.

3) Keep on requesting us on your local college radio station. We were #163 on the CMJ charts for two weeks straight. Thank you to those who have requested us and to those who are planning on doing so.
